Kids love playing with the hose pipe and its a great way to cool down in this heat, but we want to remind parents to check the water temperature before the kids start playing.
A garden hose exposed to direct sunlight during summer can heat the water inside the hose (not flowing) to 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit (54-60 degrees C ) which can cause burns especially to children & animals.
Let the water flow a few minutes to cool before spraying on people or animals.
