Home-Start UK have put together #HomeIsWhereWeStartFrom, a report measuring the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on parents of young children. 77% of Home-Start families have said they felt more comfortable accepting support from a volunteer than a professional.
For some, contact from their #HomeStartVolunteer has been the only meaningful conversation they had from week to week during the pandemic.
